Marica has been providing counseling services to children, adolescents, individuals and families for over 10 years. The essence of her work is to facilitate self-growth by helping you identify the core challenges and setbacks in your life, so that you can overcome them with confidence. She specializes in creating personalized plans and providing tools to guide you forward and achieve your desired goals. She works with a range of issues that include anger, anxiety, behavioral issues, depression, family conflict, oppositional defiance, relationship issues, stress and trauma. Marica is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Texas, Board Certified Counselor, Board Certified Telemental Health Provider, has been trained in EMDR and is a TBRI (R) Practitioner that will help you develop the habits and skills to effectively deal with the challenges and emotional moments you may encounter in life.

 

Maximino "Max" Crespo-Deynes, MM/MBA, MA, NCC, LPC

Max contracts with Dimensions of Wellness Counseling and is a fully bilingual counselor (English and Spanish – spoken and written) with a multicultural background.  He has a deep level of respect for each individual, as well as for their circumstances and history.  He brings a good amount of life experience as an engineer, computer programmer, business manager, corporate employee, entrepreneur, business owner and psychotherapist.  In particular, he has many years of corporate/professional experience and expertise working with difficult decisions.  He also has over ten years of post-graduate counseling experience and likes to work with individuals, couples, families and organizations.  


Max’s counseling aims to encompass “the whole person” (e.g., able to use the client’s spirituality in treatment if the client wants to).  He has extensive experience with children, adolescents and adults.  He has worked successfully with individuals with

special needs  (e.g., Autism Spectrum) as well as with couples and families.  He can help with ADHD, mood and anxiety issues, trauma/abuse, relationships, life transitions (including career), stress, anger issues, self-esteem, grief/loss, as well as inter-cultural, inter-relational and inter-generational issues.

 

Caroline "Cara" Kasemsri, MS, LPC Associate

Cara received her bachelors degree in exercise sports science at Texas Tech University and furthered her education in Mental Health with a MS degree in Counseling at Lubbock Christian University. Through her education, and her professional career as a psychological technician, she acquired knowledge and understanding of various psychological disorders and distress in children, adolescents and adults.

Her extensive experience in helping clients from multiple settings work through trauma has made compassion the foundation of her approach. Cara’s goals are to help her client’s individual growth by providing a safe, warm and accepting environment. Her professional career in the mental health field has strengthened her ability to build an empathetic relationship with individuals and provide unconditional acceptance and support throughout the counseling process.
